Procedure is a text that show a process in order. Its social function is to describe how something is completely done through a sequence of series

Generic Structure of Procedure

1. Goal: showing the purpose

2. Material: Telling the needed materials

3. Step 1-end: Describing the steps to achieve the purpose

· Using imperative sentence

PROSEDUR        

Teks Prosedur adalah teks yang isinya mengenai langkah-langkah/step bagaimana

membuat/ melakukan sesuatu.

Generic Structure: Aim/Goal - Materials – Steps

- Aim/Goal (tujuan), terdapat pada judul

- Material (bahan dan alat)

- Steps (langkah-langkah)

Ciri-ciri kebahasaan teks ini antara lain sebagai berikut:

- Tenses yang digunakan adalah Simple Present

 - Pola kalimatnya dominan kalimat imperative (perintah) seperti: Don't, cut, mix,

   stir, pour, dan sebagainya, yang semua kata-kata tersebut merupakan action verb.

- Dipakainya Connectives untuk mengurutkan kegiatan atau action-action yang

  ada seperti :then, while, the next, after, dll.

- ada pula Adverbials  untuk menyatakan rinci waktu, tempat, cara yang akurat,

   misalnya for two minutes, two centimeters from the top, dll.

How to Make Lemonade

Ingredients:

For each glass use:

- 2 tablespoons of lemon juice.

- 2 tablespoons of sugar.

- 1 glass of water.

Methods:

1. Slice a lemon in half and squeeze the juice into a cup.

2. Take out the seeds.

3. Pour two tablespoons of juice into glass.

4. Add sugar.

5. Add water and stir well.

6. Taste the lemonade. You may want to add more sugar or more lemon to make it taste just right.

7. Put it in ice cubes. A drop of red food coloring will make pink lemonade.

How to Make Sesame Drop Biscuits

Materials:

1. 2 cups flour

2. 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder

3. ½ reaspoon each baking soda and salt

4. Butter  or margarine

5. 2 tablespoons sesame seed

6. 1 cup buttermilk

Night Before:

1. In a large bowl stir together flour, baking powder, soda and salt.

2. With 2 knives or pastry blender cut in ½ cup butter until particles are fine .

3. Stir in sesame seed.

Next Morning:

1. Add buttermilk to flour mixture and stir with a fork just until mixed.

2. Drop by tablespoons on greased cookies sheet.

3. Bake in preheated 450 degrees oven until light brown. 12 to 14 minutes.

4. Serve at once with butter.

How to wash a Car

First, The materials needed are a sachet of car shampoo, a sponge/a sheet of cloth, plas chamois,and water.

Then,Prepared water, moisten the body of car.make sure that all of the body became

moist.

Next, a sachet of car shampoo is poured into 2-3 liter of pure water.Then, the mixture is stirred up by using a hand.

After that, the car is cleaned up by using a sponge with the mixture of shampoo and pure water.Next, the body is rinsed off by water, till it is clean.

How to charge hand phone battery

prepare your :

- hand phone

- battery charger

Steps :

1. Connect the charger to your hand phone, the flash symbol on the charger plug must face upward.

2. Wait until the battery icon appears on the screen.

3. Charge the battery approximately 5 hours or until the battery icon indicates that the battery is fully charged.

4. Remove the charger by pulling out from your hand phone.

Making Kite

Having a kite flying is interesting and make it by self is easy. Prepare the following materials to make a kite:

Butcher cord

Scotch tape or glue

1 Sheet of strong paper

2 Strong, straight wooden sticks of bamboo

Markers, paint or crayons

After the materials have been prepared, the directions bellow is easy instruction on how to make a kite:

1. Make a cross with the two sticks, with the shorter stick placed horizontally across the longer stick.

2. Tie the two sticks together with the string in such a way as to make sure that they are at right angles to each other.

3. Cut a notch at each end of the sticks. Make it deep enough for the type of string you are using to fit in to. Cut a piece of string long enough to stretch all around the kite frame.

4. Lay the sail material flat and place the stick frame face down on top. Cut around it, leaving about 2-3cm for a margin. Fold these edges over and glue it down so that the material is tight.

5. Make a tail by tying a small ribbon roughly every 10cm along the length of string.

6. Decorate your kite with the markers!
